Q: Where is the Howard Theatre Located

A: The Howard is located on T and 7th Street NW in the Shaw District.


Q: What time should I arrive?

A: Doors and Showtimes are listed on the shows page and they will vary from show to show. Please pay attention to this when purchasing your tickets.


Q: What is your seating policy?

A: For shows that are seated, seating is first come, first seated – the earlier you arrive, the better seat you can get. We do not take advance table reservations, except where noted as a condition of a VIP ticket or Show Package reservation.

All other shows are General Admission.


Q: Is there parking nearby? Do you validate?

A: Unfortunately, we do not provide parking or validate. However, self parking is available within 3 blocks of the Theatre and there is street parking in the surrounding area.

We encourage using public transportation, ride sharing and alternative transportation as much as possible when coming to our shows.


Q: What are my payment options?

A: The bar is CASHLESS. You can pay for food and beverage with credit cards. Tickets can only be bought with credit or debit cards.


Q: Is there an age restriction at your venue?

A: Check the show listing for details.


Q: Is the Theatre handicap accessible?

A: The Howard is handicap accessible and fully ADA compliant.


Q: Do you rent the Howard for private events?

A: Yes we do! Visit our Events page or email parties@unionstage.com for information


Q: Can I take photographs at the show?

A: We allow photos with no flash. Some artists do not allow photos at their concerts. No audio or video recording of any kind is allowed.


Q: What’s the difference between a Floor Booth and a Balcony Booth?

A: Floor Booths are closest to the General Admission section and do not include table service unless otherwise noted. Balcony Booths are upstairs, separate from the General Admission section and include table service.
